Getting Started with TinyX: Your First Short Link

Welcome to TinyX. This guide walks you through creating your first short link, from sign-up to share-ready in a couple of minutes.

1. Create an account

Head to tinyx.co and click Get Started. Enter your email and a password, then verify your email address using the link we send you. Email verification is required before you can create links.

2. Go to your dashboard

After logging in, you land on your dashboard. It shows your usage against your plan's limits and shortcuts to Upload File and Create Link.

3. Create a short link

Click Create Link and choose the URL tab. Fill in the details:

Destination URL: the full URL you want to shorten (for example https://yourdomain.com/some/long/path)
Custom Code (optional): leave it blank to get a random code, or type your own if you're on Pro or Max
Notes (optional): an internal note so you can find the link later. Visitors never see it.

Click to create the link and you're done.

4. Share your link

Your short link looks like tinyx.co/x/abc123. Copy it from your link list and share it anywhere: email, social, print.

5. What happens when someone clicks

TinyX redirects your visitor to the destination URL and records the visit. You'll see it in the link's Analytics view within seconds. If you later change the destination, the link's history is kept.
